OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging test that takes cross-section pictures of your retina, the lining the back of the eye. Our optometrists can then analyze and measure the thickness of each of the retina’s distinctive layers. These measurements help with diagnosis and provide treatment guidance for glaucoma and retinal diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. By detecting early changes or markers in the eye, we can then reduce the risk to your vision and health. More info

OPTOMAP IMAGING

The Optomap ultra-widefield retinal image is a noninvasive and unique technology that captures a panoramic digital image of the retina and optic nerve. It allows our optometrists to view more than 80% of your retina while traditional imaging methods typically only show 15% of your retina at one time.

Some of the first signs of diseases such as diabetes, stroke and even some cancers can be seen in your retina, often before you have other symptoms.  An Optomap digital image makes it easier to see them. Unlike traditional retinal exams, this image can be saved for future comparisons. This enables us to protect you and your vision for the future. More info
